Title: speaker listening height
Post by piezoman on 04/14/20 at 15:58:25

Hi all,

I just received my order from Louis at Omega Speakers; Junior XRS with ALNICO single drivers.

The drivers [at the center] are about 14" below my ears while sitting.

Shouldn't these be raised by 14" to accommodate ear level listening?

If so, what short stands are recommended?

Thanks, Brad

I think they are tilted so stands may not be needed.

Thanks Lin. They came each with 4 spikes that are equal in height. If you remove the rear ones, the speaker falls backwards  :)

Do you own a grinder?

Or a set of saucers for the front spikes.

Check out IsoAcoustic Aperta speaker stands. May be just the ticket.
