Does anyone out there have a cool stool for sitting down while you’re trying to figure out which album to play?

My problems are a bit different from yours.

For one thing there is no place I can just sit and see more then a tiny portion of my collection.
My troubles are that I usually know what I want to hear before I approach the stack of shelves housing most of my records. My problem is finding a specific album.

I have tried so many organizational styles. Genres, Artist, alpha, No genre, all alpha, No artist, all title, etc.

I do not need a stool. I need a system that makes sense.

I might go with one of those library stools, doubles as a step, anchors when you step or sit and rolls with a light kick. Maybe attach a pillow to the top if you plan on taking a moment to choose.

Yes I can understand your situation. I don't have a ton of albums but I have enough that I use one bin that's close to my turntable where I have my newer albums. These are the albums where a stool would be nice.
