Title: Bass Traps Post by Lonely Raven on 12/21/18 at 05:15:19 I found this French guy on YouTube, and from what I could follow, he's got some great ideas. I think I might try making some of his bass traps for my tiny listening room system. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=whG1NRJl-OE https://www.thecableco.com/accessories/adapters.html |
Title: Re: Bass Traps Post by 4krow on 12/21/18 at 18:33:36 He mumbled so badly, I couldn't understand a word! Also had an impossible time reading his lips.... Despite all of that, yes, I agree, he has some ingenious ideas. Now why didn't I think of that? It looks like the larger round bass traps are tune-able. That just makes good sense. |
Title: Re: Bass Traps Post by Lonely Raven on 12/27/18 at 06:35:26 I was working on a Tuneable Helmholtz resonator, but it sounds like these membrane bass traps might be more efficient for the same amount of space. Unfortunately the membrane material he recommends is a bit on the expensive side and typically not sold outside of industrial sales...so I'm having trouble figuring out how to try this inexpensively. |
