I have a VPI Prime and ZP3, looking to upgrade my Blue Jeans ICs. Has anyone tried the Anticable 6.2s for this application? I will be getting Decware Silver Reference for ZP3 -> ZR2 -> Torii Jr, but need something for the tonearm. Other option would be using the new Audiophile ICs from Decware.

I've always preferred a purpose-built phono cable as they generally have better shielding, very important especially if your cartridge is low output. I've owned the Zu Xaus for a number of years now and it's been terrific with everything I've thrown at it. Closest match in the current Zu lineup would be the Event:

I had Marc Stager make be a couple pair of shielded silver ICs for my TT-ZMC1 and ZMC1-ZP3. Very reasonably priced. Contact him since not everything he offers is listed. I think I paid around $200/pr. I use Steve's silver cables everywhere else but since they aren't shielded I went with Marc's for the critical TT links.

Me? I just have the regular connectors on my ICs.

I forgot to mention above that the reason I went with the Stager cables is that he offered silver. I have silver windings in my cart, silver cart cables and silver ICs and speaker cables so I wanted to keep things consistent.

Marc Stager is awesome, thanks for the reco. I ordered 0.75m TT ICs from him to pair with my freshly ordered Decware DSR-II's!

Well I put in some listening hours before I made an initial impression. All I can say is wow, what an improvement over the blue jeans cables I had in there. Marc is amazing, well packaged, quick turnaround, and amazing craftsmanship!

Really excited to get my DSR-II's in to finish out my ICs with silver. I am now a believer!
