Title: Zen Mystery Amp Post by Delta 77 on 05/04/18 at 17:28:40 Okay after my 3-4 weeks of going back and forth on my decision on which amp to buy. I finally went for the ZMA.. Does any one know what year Steve developed the ZMA..?? Did any of you ZMA owners have any upgrades done to your ZMA..?? |

Title: Re: Zen Mystery Amp Post by Delta 77 on 05/04/18 at 23:43:19 Thanks for the warm welcome Stone.. It feels wonderful to be part of the group.. Even though I already joined the group with my CSP3, I just needed one of these astonishing amps (Decware), you guys are using.. I didn't want to long for more watts like I hear some of the others in the group long for. |
Title: Re: Zen Mystery Amp Post by Jeff of Arabica on 05/05/18 at 00:40:47 Welcome Delta! You chose wisely. With that, I mean you chose an amp that can excel in any situation. This amp will demonstrate disciplined restraint when run in high efficiency speaker systems and authoritative command presence as needed with harder to drive speakers. Incredibly versatile. Money very well spent. |
Title: Re: Zen Mystery Amp Post by Lonely Raven on 05/08/18 at 17:14:43 Super consistent amp! I love mine! I was just looking through the ZMA development thread, looking for photos of the input section...Page 6, I laughed at my own posts and how excited I was to get my amp. I still love it to pieces. |

Title: Re: Zen Mystery Amp Post by Delta 77 on 05/18/18 at 15:53:37 What is the estimated man hours it takes to build a ZMA ..? I'm not in a hurry, just curios.. |
Title: Re: Zen Mystery Amp Post by Lon on 05/18/18 at 16:31:58 The last few years I'd say the normal waiting period for an order is eight to nine weeks. . . . |
Title: Re: Zen Mystery Amp Post by Delta 77 on 05/18/18 at 17:35:21 Thanks Lon , I'm wondering just how many man hours the Tech. will have to spend on making a ZMA.. Just one more way to explain to the wife why it cost so much..! I'm guessing about 24-30 hours (3-4 days) , with a rough estimate of $100 an hour .. this would allow me to tell her "it takes about $2,400-$3,000 , in labor to make it". Does anybody know?? |
Title: Re: Zen Mystery Amp Post by Lon on 05/18/18 at 18:36:08 Steve knows, that's about it I would guess. |
