Title: Ordered a Rachael
Post by RaOne on 08/11/17 at 18:38:19

Should be interesting. Will get to compare side by side to a McIntosh MA5200 through Cornwall lll's.....Winner keeps the Cornwalls, loser inherits the Heresys.....

This should be the perfect amp for horns...Can't wait....

Sounds like a good comparo.  As a Rachael user, I am interested in your findings.  Are your speaker stock?

Yes, they're only 4 or 5 years old....

Congrats on your new amp!

Has  anyone had the chance to compare a UFO'd Rachel to the UFO Super Zen Triode? I'd be interested to know and hear their comments because I like the extra wattage that the Rachel could supply, but the little 2 watt'r seems like it's pretty hard to beat.

Call me crazy as I don't even have the amp yet but Decware may be the Holy Grail of two channel audio........Im 56 years old, been at it since I was a teenager, found Decware 3 weeks ago. We will see.....Welcome back my friends to the show that never ends.....

RaOne, you are not crazy. I've owned some very nice gear over the years - McIntosh, Tandberg, etc. - but I only recently discovered Decware. I rolled the dice and bought some Decware speakers - without even having heard them - based purely on others description of them. I then bought a Decware Torii Jr. and 3 other pieces of Decware gear, pretty much replacing my entire 2 channel system. Not the most expensive, but hands down the best system I've ever owned.

I may have to take you up on that offer after this summer!  Maybe the roots to a San Diego Decware Appreciation Club! :)
