I have just seen that Telefunken is making new tubes... http://store.t-funk.com/c/vacuum-tubes_black-diamond-series Has anybody tried them?

It is in partnership with JJ. Nothing different than putting a Mullard or Tung Sol name on a "reissue." Nevertheless I am glad to see the name back in circulation. I hate to think that someday we will all be held hostage to the Shuguang factory and their various "Pissvane" and other brands selling tubes in felt lined boxes with ridiculous presentation.

The factory supposedly does some variations for different brands, but they are all coming out of the same place.

If I'm paying boutique prices, I want truly boutique tubes.
