Title: ZMA Stereo Times Review
Post by Archie on 03/17/17 at 00:41:15

I just read the new Stereo Times review of the ZMA.  Well done Steve!  As the word gets out, don't forget your loyal followers!   :D

I noticed the reviewer preferred 6L6G tubes to the KT66.  I agree.  In my system I keep returning to the coin-based Russian Reflector 6P3S-E 6L6GC tubes.

Quote:
... I noticed the Teres did handle the loudspeakers with touch better bass, precision and control (at 250 watts per side) but the ZMA performed most impressively for a tubed amplifier with 40 watts. ...

I was a little disappointed that the reviewer liked the Teres a bit better so I looked it up.  If I got the right equipment, it costs $30,000!!!!   :o

If that's what it takes to beat the ZMA then --   ;D   ;D   ;D   ;D
