I know I'm going to regret this but, OK guys, the second time in a week, a legendary ZMA is up for sale. Like Scott (jsm71) I have the same speakers, same amp, even same size room. I seem to be following his audio journey or perhaps he's following me. I have always loved the ZMA but it just doesn't have enough power to put the Janszen hybrid electrostats where I want them (although sounding wonderful) and I have assembled my system around these speakers.

I bought the ZMA with all the extras. I have the NOS Mallory red caps, dark walnut base, gold knob, stepped attenuator and balanced (XLR) inputs, speakers 4 & 8 Ohm. The condition is almost flawless. Purchased March 2014

Yes, electrostats are very addictive but I'm still somewhat on the fence. I know I will regret this eventually.

Those Tungsol EL34B tubes are VERY nice, even independent Steve's decision to use them in Decware amps! I have them in one of the amps used by this reviewer, and concur with his findings:

if you're committed to the "stats"... and need more juice. I might suggest you look into a Cary SLI-80. This unit can run KT-120's at over 100 tube watts a side in pentode mode. Works very well (sounds superb) with my Martin Logan Vista's. Actually my Torii 3 sounds pretty good with the ML's as well, just very limited volume - not an issue with the SLI-80.
