Thought I would start a thread to announce the new line of turntables that Rega is releasing. They have launched a "Planar 2" and a "Planar 3" --the RP3 model is going away, replaced by the Planar 3. These tables are not radically different. . . but there is a new tonearm for the P2 model, and other changes to both models including new plinth, platter and motor tweaks, supposed improved sub-platter and bearing.

I've read that the RP6 will be replaced in the near future.

Totally unrelated. Jimi’s Midnight Lightning. I have the vinyl but not the jacket. The jacket that’s online is not what I bought back in the 70’s. Do you remember a different jacket?

That's the cover I have too, on the Reprise LP I bought when it was first released.
