Title: All new 2ch system Post by Tinman96 on 08/20/15 at 02:28:40 Tube NOOB....  I have been selling off my 5.1 system and I am getting back to my roots with just 2ch.  I am going tube instead SS, I have a limited budget and my plan is the Racheal with UFO transformer, stock default Tascam CD-240 and a zbit to adjust gain into the amp.  90% of my music is CD...  I am on the right track?

Title: Re: All new 2ch system Post by mark58 on 08/20/15 at 02:56:48 I'm not sure what a Z-Bit is but you can connect your Rachel Amp directly to your CD player and adjust volume with your Amp's volume control. I own a pair of Zen Signature Mono Blocks (2 WPC) connected directly to my Jolida 100 CD player (2 volt output)...works great with Omega Alinco 7XRS and Zu Audio Soul speakers, efficiency of 93 and 99 dB respectively.
