17 years after the first Zen Triode Amplifier shipped, I'm proud to say that world's favorite 2 watt amplifier, the Decware benchmark for good sound, has been the motivation for another rather amazing improvement. Honestly we didn't think it could get any better or we wouldn't have waited till now to do it, but indeed we have created the Ultra Fidelity Output transformer for the Zen Triode Amplifier and the result is crazy good.
The Zen Triode Amplifier now comes standard with these new upgraded transformers, which for the first time ever, also include a switch to go from 4 to 8 ohm speakers. This feature makes it sound like you have two different amps, with the ability to switch back and forth on the fly during music playback.
With this huge change in value, sound quality, and functionality, we have decided to update the web page and and model number. So the SE84CKC now becomes the SE84UFO.
