Title: Endeavor Speakers
Post by Dave1210 on 05/14/15 at 15:31:04

Anyone know much about this company or the below speakers.  We heard the E5 at Axpona.  They were in way too small of a room but I think had a lot of potential.  Their smaller speaker, the E3, is relatively efficient and supposed to have flat 4 ohm impedance, which should be a good match for tubes.

While I haven't heard them or even heard of them until now, 87dB 1w/1m (probably inflated a dB or two) wouldn't qualify as "relatively efficient" to me.
YMMV

Lin...is 90dB@2.83V/meter, really 87 dB 1w/1m for a 4 ohm speaker?  I guess I didn't look that closely and saw 90dB, and looked right past the 2.83V...

2.83V = 1 watt @ 8 ohm?
2.83V = 2 watts @ 4 ohm?

so they are really stating, 90 dB @ 2 watts vs. 1 watt?

With 4 ohm speakers yes, it would be 2 watts at 2.83v.

Just saw your post as I was revising mine...makes sense now.  I should have paid closer attention...I think the ZMA could drive these speakers, but they are less interesting to me now.
