Title: Ziggy-built WO32s, Arizona only
Post by Matchstikman on 02/22/15 at 22:52:37

Two custom WO32 made by Ziggy himself before he left Arizona.
These are configured with 10 inch, Daytona drivers 295-110; two
drivers in each cabinet.
Along with the subwoofer come two Parts Express subwoofer amplifiers.
These components have been gathering dust for a several years.
I need the space.
I am looking for a fair a price.
Try me.  You never know what I will take depending on the time and day.
Sold, as is.
Arizona only or be prepared to drive.
You must come and pick them up.  They weigh a ton.

I've been trying to get rid of these for some time, but no one seems to be biting on Decware.  I'd like to put these on Audiogon; however, I am not sure of the price.  Right now I am willing to barter with anyone but I don't think I can do that on Audiogon or Ebay.  I need the space more than I need the money.

I'd like to ask the Decware community for advice on what I should do?  I've been contacted and offered $$$ to set them on fire in the Arizona desert and put it on Youtube.  I don't know about that.

It would be a shame to set them on fire. If I were in Arizona I'd drive and take them off your hands with some cash but I'm very far away from Arizona. All I might suggest is that you maybe ask Sarah if she might email known Decware customers in Arizona details about the speakers on your behalf. . . it's possible there are a few or more that don't log in to the forum who might be interested. . . . And you could do Craig's list in your city and area, no?

Thanks Lon for the tips.
I tried Craigslist.  I get people wanting to trade but that is about it.  I don't want more stuff.  I want less stuff.  I think people want to put this into a car which I think would be possible but these things weigh a ton.  I have to admit that Ziggy does good work.  These things are sturdy and would probably survive an ice age.

Don't even think about setting them on fire!
I have two of these also that I have made and love the design. They sound really good and blend in perfectly with every speaker I tried on them.
I think if you give it time you will find someone that will take them. I would but you are way too far.
Also try putting them on usaudiomart. Another site that would give you more exposure to sell them.

I say your maybe gonna have to ship them.
Fedex freight is awesome. Is there anyone out there can strap them to a pallet for you?
What would be your price for them w/o shipping?

Chris, I remember when I picked them up at Ziggy's house.  It took some muscle to load them in my car.  To take them out was just as bad.
I don't know anything about shipping or what it would take to have it done.  I have not gone down that route, yet.

They do, however, make nice end-tables...ha!!

Chris, I don't have a set price.  If you were in front of my house who knows what I would take on any given day.

Sorry Match! That is a tasty offer but I'm in Ohio. Supposed to make a trip to Bob's in NC and barely gonna get that done. Maybe Bob knows someone that would pallet them. FedEx freight will pick them up. Don't give up yet. They just cant go in the dumpster or the fire pit!!

By the way, not pictured are two, nearly new, Parts Express subwoofer amps with some decent  wattage so that these can be wired in stereo.  I never got to do that but I bet it wouldn't sound bad.

are these constructed in such a manner as to allow a side to be removed to get to the drivers... i.e. like is one of the large sides fastened with screws and not glued and screwed?

Maddog07, yes, one of the sides can get removed.  You can see in the picture, slightly, that one side is screwed on.  I've never taken them apart.

Interesting thing about these pieces; lots of people are asking about them but no one is offering.

That would probably be an issue of location.

I am getting tired of these monstrosities sitting in the hallway.  Somebody is going to get a good deal on these.
