Title: 5881 OK in a Torii? Post by ianderson on 10/19/14 at 05:50:56 A question for you you experienced tube rollers out there. On using a Mk III Torii, are vintage 5881 Tungsols a) compatible b) sound ok? In my rig my speakers are reasonably efficient at 94 DB, so the power loss in not much of a concern. A friend has loaned me a quad and I want to ensure they will bias up properly and operate safely as I don't wont to put the loaned tubes at risk - your thoughts? |
