Title: NO DISC Post by kdwhite on 10/13/14 at 20:00:08 My trusty Tascam cd-160 MKII (modified) no longer reads discs.  Examined internal... No dirt on lens and everything appears to be mechanically functional. Any ideas?

It would start to skip and then would not see the disk. See if you can find a replacement laser assembly for it. I replaced the one on my Sony and has been running for the last 8 years.
