Hello All,

I'm having a hard time deciding which book shelf speaker to buy. I narrowed my choices to DM 944/945 and the Omega Alinco top bookshelf speakers.

My current gear is:
Pro-ject Extension 12 Turntable
Cart: EMT TSD 15
Zen Triode Integrated Amplifier - aka RACHAEL
ZP3 Zen Triode Phono Stage
Bob's Devices Sky CineMag step up Transformer

My setup will be in a spare room no bigger than 12 x 14. I will have acoustic panels on the wall and my musical taste are jazz and classic rock.

I am going by word of mouth since I can't get a listening audition.

First question, are you planning on using them on a bookshelf or stand mounted?

It'd be great if someone who has owned both could chime in. Fwiw, I have some Omega 3xrs and just love them. Not having heard the DM 944/945's I can't say if I'd like them more or less but they have always interested me.

+1 to seikosha ... I have the Omega RS7 and like them quite a bit. I would be interested if anybody has heard or had both Decware and Omega in their setups.
