Thank you for sharing this link. This guy is off the hook!! I bet he would sell you a tape. Good to know there are still serious craftsmen like Steve and Crazy Joe around.

I bought Crazy Joe's latest album in HD, and send him an E-mail asking about 1/4" tape. He said he loves the sound of tape himself, and understands that audiophiles enjoy tape, but that he doesn't want to play his spliced master tape any more than he needs to.

I did suggest I'd be happy with a copy of his "safety master", which I assume he's done, but haven't heard back from him on that.

I've listened to his Doctor is In album a few times now and I really enjoy it. Great, old school rock and roll!
