Title: Is a Jupiter Beeswax HT a big improvement? Post by P K on 08/02/13 at 15:47:25 Does anyone know what cap came with a special white SE84+ CKC made in Oct. 2009. How would the sound change using a Jupiter Beeswax HT. Also, do large 2 watt carbon composition plate resistors make a big difference. |

What I will say is that the superzen ,AKA CKC mod is the most refined of them all. again I listen in a small room,9x13. with very efficient speakers . best 2 watts ive heard |

Post by jameskk on 02/16/14 at 10:21:13 I apologize for not answering your question correctly. the caps he (Steve) used for the se84C+ was the Wima cap , same cap in most amps built back then ,and now standard coupling cap is the Jupiter. ,or if you wish to pay extra money the Vcap. |
