I would like to sell my PS Audio PerfectWave DAC II w/Bridge. The unit is Black and works great. Audiogon scale I would rate it it at a 8.5 - 9. I have the remote and box. Selling to help fund a new Modwright BDP-105. Asking $2500 and I will pay shipping. You can email me at steve.amelung@att.net. Below is my warranty info I pulled from PS on this unit.

Interesting Steve. Are you keeping your modded BDP-95? Email sent. I might be interested in the PWD for a second system. Is this a "native MKII" or an upgraded original PWD? From the dates, it appears to be a current model.

Hey Pale Rider - It is a Current model, not an upgrade. If I can come up with enough money to buy the 105 and sale the DAC to pay for the mod, I will probably keep my 95. I had all of the SS channels modified and will use it primarily for movies. Plus it will leave me with a hi-end source backup in case something happens to fail on the 105 down the road. The main reason I want to stick with all ModWright Oppo is because I can set the timing on my mains to better integrate my subs. My subs already have an 8-10 ms delay by design. There is a huge difference getting the two mains and subwoofer in phase. The attack is as good as the HDT's, just more of it.

Completely agree on the sub timing. The designer of my subs and I spent some time discussing the various system integration issues. I expect with the HR-1s, I could end up worrying less about this, because I may not choose to add the sub(s) to them, but on movies, it makes a difference.

Funny, we are both pursuing interesting tracks here. I am considering your DAC for both backup purposes to the one I already have, and as the centerpiece of an ultimate headphone rig, with the DAC feeding the new Taboo and the Cavalli Liquid Fire, and two sets of LCD-2s, or an LCD-2/3 combo.

In case anyone else might be interested in Steve's PWD, this is an excellent deal. For purely personal unrelated reasons, I am deferring my second PWD acquisition for a few weeks.
