Title: First impression
Post by marky on 01/27/13 at 12:56:53

The big day came.
New pair of SE341`s as mono`s, a new CSP2+, and still playing in ZP3, all hooked up. Dropped the needle in.
Soooo nice, bass will come through better soon.
Second side of album. Made  little adjustments on the CSP2+`s in/out.
WOW. Cavernous, detailed bass and drums.
Everything,... everything just sounds so effortless.
Thats just 40 mins straight `out of the box`.
No way will I be playing a repeat cd to burn in.
Thanks Steve et all,...and Decware owners for their impressions.

Putting the decor back will be a leisurely affair.  :)

Your system is like single malt scotch. All you might want to look into soon is a high output moving coil cartridge

Thanks Lon, RR, it`s a delight to `arrive` at the Decware aural experience.
Thats insightfull RR
. My Dynavector 20XL is 3yrs old now and due for a rest. V/good cart...but thats where I am at the moment.
Before that an Audio Technica ATCO9.
The new system deserves a rethink.
I have been looking for some months now.
Top on my probables list are a cart from the
L. Decca family or Music Maker Classic.....or.

The SE341`s are giving me great delight now. Every day a new surprise.  I`ve struck a happy medium on the CSP2+ in/out
pre gains, and am settled in.
Yesterday, after a re-arrangement the small hum I had been experiencing with the ZP3 just wasn`t there anymore .
