I'm a very recent member of this community, and yet I already share the transpiring deep appreciation and admiration for Steve, as a person and as a one-of-a-kind audio engineer.  Early on, I had the privilege of meeting him by phone and could immediately feel the human warmth coming through his kind assistance.

I'm sure many of Steve's traits come from Roane, who by his photograph being displayed in this forum, looks to me as gentle a human being as I've ever seen.  My deepest condolences to Steve and his beloved family.  Steve, Roane is in a better place now.

Condolances for you and your loved ones from The Netherlands Steve.
Over here it is our belief that your father is now born again, this time in your family "on the other side".
We wish you the strength to help each other through these first difficult days.
Nico, NL

I'm with Nico on this one Steve. Mom passed and still pays visits to dad who just turned 94 (lives with me). Soon he will join her too - unless he lives to be 100. Audio keeps him happy!

Our condolences in this difficult time.
