I'm offering a matched pair of 1959 Pope/Amperex (Philips Holland manufacture) 12AX7's.

I purchased this pair several years ago from Upscale Audio for $220. This is their platinum grade with low microphonics and tight triode matching. Specs (when I purchased them) are 18500/17500, and 18500/18000.

I have put about 300 hours on these tubes with my Decware ZP3, since purchase. They are one of the best Amperex 12Ax7 types. The printing on the tubes is a bit smeared, due to the Herbie's Ebony wood tube dampeners I've been using. They include the original 1959 boxes, which are very colorful and in "minty" condition.

Price includes Priority Mail shipping in the lower 48 states. If you are unhappy with these tubes they can be returned for a refund (within 7 days and you pay for return shipping).

In addition to the Pope/Amperex 12AX7's, I 've also decided to sell another matched pair of 5U4G's.

I have a matched pair of RCA 5U4G's made in July of 1961. I have put approx. 400 hours on them in my Torii III. They came NOS in the boxes and the measurements were 1800/1700 and 1760/1700, with the minimum being 800.

Great sounding tubes with near new condition boxes. Seliing for the very fair price of $40.00 plus $10 for Priority Mail with Delivery confirmation. These will be very well-packed in an oversized box.

Why am I selling? I switched to a matched NOS pair of '51 JAN RCA 5U4G's that sound just a tad better. Also have Tungsol's and early 40's Kenrads for the future. These 1961 RCA's are nice, but I could use the extra money.

Price reduced on Pope/Amperex 12AX7's to $70.00 (includes shipping)

Price is also reduced on the slightly used matched pair of RCA 5U4G's, to $30.00 plus $10 for shipping in an oversized box.

I still have not sold the pair of matched 1959 Amperex (made for Pope), so I'm lowering the price to the bargain basement of $50, which includes Priority Mail shipping (lower 48 only).

The only reason I'm selling these nice tubes (used in my Decware ZP3) is I've switched to 1951 Ken Rads. If you're unhappy with these tubes they can be returned for refund, as long as you pay return shipping.
