I'm using a pair of Zu audio omens (eff ~98Db). I'm currently running a jolida 302b with them and rarely have to turn it up at all to get loud. I'm wondering will be able to get loud in a typical living room setting with a mini torii and these speakers?

You should be able to. I have a MINI TORII in a small room with 94 db efficient speakers and it is more then enough for this small place.

I am using a Mini Torii in a 20x19 bonus room with 95 db floorstanding speakers, and my wife claims it gets too loud for her downstairs.

I received my mini torii last week and I am amazed at how loud and full it will drive my Tannoy Ardens. I think they are only around 92dB and I can't get the volume past 2 o'clock in my 20x12 room. And it sounds incredible too!
