Title: First time builder looking for some help on caps Post by theRanger on 09/10/11 at 00:38:53 Hello everyone, new to this site and working with electronics. This is my first time building an amp. I just recieved my PCB board and started to order parts. I was looking to do some upgrades from the stock parts and wanted to start with capacitors. I haven't seen too much talk about capacitors, so I'm not sure what to go with. When I was searching for a kit amp and reading the forums, alot of different boutique capacitors came up. Everybody seems to have their own opinion on what's best for a tube amp. I'm more interested in whats the best capacitor for this tube amp. A few suggestions would be great. Hopefully something that wont break the pocketbook. I read alot of good stuff about Sonicap, Black Gate, Jenson, and Panasonic, just to name a few that came up in other forums. But I'm not sure what would be the best for this type of amp, could somebody point me in the right direction? Thanks, Josh
