Title: fantastic diy pure silver interconnects

to all Mini Torii owners and everyone interested in fantastic diy interconnects: http://www.audioasylum.com/cgi/m.mpl?forum=cables&n=152650&highlight=

And vh audio: http://www.venhaus1.com/diysilverinterconnects.html

For 150$ I now have fantastic sound. My system already had a Phd, now it has finished 10 years of post doctoral studies and is working for the UN on humanitarian missions and writing best selling books on its favourite topics. Maybe one day it will  be an accomplished painter.

These interconnects have allegedly been preferred to no-cost-barred interconnects. Although I never tested such expensive objects I can tell you that they sound way better than what I had and that the guy selling them answers all emails and is really sweet to deal with. I urge you to try making them, it is easy!!!

Gotta admit, that's pretty interesting Raduschka. I have been very happy with my Decware ICs, but putting a set of these together sounds like a fun project.

you can't go wrong Pale Rider, although I do not guarantee anything of course!!! In my system they made a big difference, however I did not have the Decware interconnects, which I am sure are very good
you might end up with another great pair of ICs

You all are approaching true Nirvana.

...approaching?

Yesterday, I was chatting with Bob (ZYGI) via email about the construction of my speakers and the bases for my amps. It was interesting to think about all these "parts" goig into making these things that will eventually come live in my home and reproduce music. Nirvana indeed.

...my speakers come from Audio Nirvana. I hope that in true Nirvana I can still keep my system. I happen to be a Buddhist, although it has nothing to do with my choice of speakers or the Zen amps :-) I actually don't 'happen, to be a Buddhist, I realized I was one.
Audio bliss , yes, but Nirvana is still far away. Getting there, one cable and such at a time!

Raduschka, I saw your pictures, but couldn't tell which Audio Nirvanas you have. Did you build them yourself?

I have the AlNiCo 10 inch fullrange AUdio Nirvanas. Yes I built them myself, am still waiting for some nice weather to give them their final look, but I live in Quebec :-) In case anyone is interested I can explain in more detail. They have opened up a new world of musical reproduction for me, together with the Mini Torii.

Chris VenHaus over at VH Audio is great to deal with if this is the same guy you're talking about in reference to your silver I.C.'s I ordered some really nice laminated spade terminals for my speaker cables and they required special crimp pliers. I was charged a deposit and as soon as he received them back from me I got my bank account credited and all was good in the world. I'm so dense sometimes...I stumbled upon his DIY cables before I realized after quite some time that he was the man who invented the famous "V-Cap"....I still laugh at myself about that!  ;D
