I seem to recall that Decware will transfer the warranty on Decware stuff if they check it out first. The seller says this amp is up to current levels and has only 100 hrs. If so, it must be either new or have been modded with the bass knobs fairly recently (since this is relatively new) and who knows, maybe Steve would just transfer the warranty having had it in hand recently! If interested, it could be worth a call to Steve.

If it's new, wonder why he doesn't return it for a refund.

Good point. Must be older than 30 days. Who knows how old, but Steve would know. If it has only 100 hrs it is not even fully broken in. If I did not own one, I would be checking this out!

According to the seller, the unit is two years old.

Has the Torii MK3 been in production for two years?

He also has a ZDAC for sale.

Not really possible. I don't think that the Torii Mk III can be more than a year and three or four months old if it is among the first.

Could be a MkIII for all intents and purposes if it is fully updated by Steve. The seller says "Completely updated with the latest mods by Steve Deckert." If interested, I would get the seller's name and the serial number (the way Decware records stuff) and call Steve to find out what has been done to it. If it has the bass knobs it has been in the shop fairly recently.

Hey, would you guys quit talking about bass knobs!  I don't have them and I'm doing my damnedest not to be envious! :)

I turn my bass knobs twice a day just because I can.

As to the age, it was built and purchased shortly after Lon got his.
I have no idea what "bass knobs" are so I doubt there are any.
I live relatively close to Peoria so it would be no problem for me to take it to Steve and have it checked out and have whatever modifications done to bring it up to anyones high standards/requirements.
As for more pictures, it differs not a wit from Steve's pictures.

Hey DPC, thanks for chiming in. Didn't know you were the seller and who better to answer questions!
