What are the physical dimensions, and weight, of the new Trapezium speakers? I just ordered a pair, and it occurred to me I should plan for the space!

ubergeek,

The Trapeziums measure 10" tall 10" deep at the base and 6-1/2" deep at the top and are 6-1/2" wide.

What is the weight again of the Trapezium? Also, what type of posts are used and finally what type of material is attached to the sides?

Markv and Ubergeek~
The weight of the Trapezium's are 8lbs each.
The posts are spring loaded to keep the back neat on a desktop for wires.
The material on the sides are 3/4" composite MDF. These are the sides of the cabinet. The bolts on the sides are used for a type of cabinet resonance control. Tightening them up will tighten the bass.

What's the finish (mahagony?) on the speakers in your picture? This is the size of speaker I've been looking for. I've looked at the Silverline Minuet Supreme from Silverline Audio, but they lack a lowend. Great reviews however. Good Luck with this one! Wonder how this would sound with a Mini-Torii?

The wood is block mottled Macore.

I've been listening to the Trapeziums on 22" stands in my listening room for over two weeks now, using nothing but the Mini Torii. I'm absolutely astounded by how well the speakers fill the room and how loud they can get with the Mini T... Well above my normal listening levels, enough to wake the wife in fact...won't do that again anytime soon.

I ordered my pair on Friday (or was that Saturday). Can't wait to try them out! My first Decware gear... Unless the ZenHead shows up first. :-)

Currently the waiting list for the Trapezium's are 3 weeks.

Just got an email notice that my Trapeziums (walnut) are shipping today. I'll post some pics when I get them....
