I helped a friend attempt this build. The results were not bad but speaker selection prolly had alot to do with the results. You will need to add the appropriate height to accommodate that size sub. The throat, horn, and ports should still hover around the same size(except in height of course). I would make the sealed and ported parts of the enclosure a little bigger since your limit is 39". Keep the horn measurement based on the 36" wide rule. With only 39" to work with you will need to angle the baffles for the 15"s. If you need more info let me know.

I am having somewhat the same situation...but with more room! I was planning on 48"x48"x18" with a pair of Power Accoustik p3-15.
I was thinking of using the same proportions minus the material thickness(tho I'll be using 3/4" as well here). Here is what I came up with...
36"x36" originally...now 48"x48" with same 3/4" MDF to house 15s
8 inches from edge for first measurement.
36-1-1/2"=34-1/2" and 8" equals 4.3125x(48-1-1/2)=
48-1-1/2=46-1/2/4.3125=10.78"...10-3/4sounds good

next is the bottom center...4" offset for the 36" model
34.5=4"
46.5=5.4"-new measurement

34.5=2" in corners
46.5=2.7"

and with that I get this...how does it look?
oops I can't post lol sorry...but what do you think of the numbers?
