Title: PEC pot Post by proud_indian on 04/29/10 at 05:06:19 I have installed a PEC pot in my 84C. Yesterday, when the CDP was not playing, I noticed a 'scratchy' noise, when I moved the control. This only comes from the right channel. The left is dead quiet. The pot is new, with just about three months of use. Any suggestions?? shreekant :)

Title: Re: PEC pot Post by dank on 04/29/10 at 12:47:25 WD40.  Best pot cleaner/lubricant I've ever tried, and I've tried a bunch of them over the years.  Assuming your PEC pot isn't so sealed up you can get some WD40 into it, just spray it down good, rotate back and forth a few dozen times, and the scratchy-ness should be gone.
