Title: DIY Fancy speaker cables
Post by Rivieraranch on 03/29/10 at 21:11:37

I wanted my speaker cables to match the DECWARE interconnects with their pretty nylon sleeves. I bought the nylon sleeve, adhesive shrink tubing, cable "pants" and borrowed a heat gun from a neighbor. I also got some DeOxit for the connections, and some new banana plugs. This is the result.

A nice look, better than PVC sheathed wire and connectors. I did 2 sets, one for home and one for the office. It took a lot of my spare time over the weekend but it was worthwhile.

Hey,

Those look great! What are the cables, i.e. copper, silver? Gauge etc?
