Title: Re: SE84C+ review Post by Lon on 08/29/09 at 11:34:41 Interesting review. Congrats Steve. |
Title: Re: SE84C+ review Post by Steve Deckert on 08/29/09 at 16:59:11 Thanks, but I didn't know anything about it! Don't even know who the reviewer is? Nice surprise though! Steve |
Title: Re: SE84C+ review Post by UncleRobb on 12/11/09 at 21:37:52 Steve, is it true - as the author of the review claims - that you recommend the Zen amps to be left on 24/7? Thanks, Robert |
Title: Re: SE84C+ review Post by Alan H on 12/12/09 at 10:13:36 @UncleRobb - having read the same review I asked this on the Kit1 Version forum and it's not true. No specific problem, but valve life will obviously be reduced. |

Title: Re: SE84C+ review Post by rmt on 12/12/09 at 16:50:04 I have read that the CSP could be left on 24/7 but not an amp. I like the line, "The SE84C+ is very revealing meaning if you're a recovering audiophile tweaker this may not be the amp for you, for it will reveal the differences and weaknesses in everything in your system from your source to the cables." I cannot imagine a tweaker being able to resist that challenge, dangling out there like a lure. |
Title: Re: SE84C+ review Post by mojangfair on 08/21/23 at 05:33:04 Do you actually suggest leaving the Zen amplifiers on all the time, as the reviewer suggests they should? |
