Post by Steve Deckert on 02/11/08 at 03:16:44 That's basically it, yes.  The only other internal part that I believe has changed is the volume control.  I found a better one with a better tapper and superior feel.  Of course parts alone are only part of the resulting sound of an amplifier.  Layout has a lot to do with it, and the layout has improved somewhat.  In addition, the resonant frequency of the chassis dropped by around 2 octaves, thanks to a huge weight increase.  This amp will sound like a regular SE84C using dampers on the tubes, all by itself.  That's going to improve focus.   Steve
