Title: ZT PRE  resistor mod,,, for what ?
Post by skiroe on 04/27/07 at 19:34:24

Just picked up a ZT pre and it had a broken ground wire for the volume pots. Working good now although now it has been noted that there is a resistor added in for a pin wire on each tube.   Its a tan resistor with blue shrink on it going into red wire..  Is anyone aware of this mod?   And what this was done for?

I'm guessing it's to allow the use of 6922 tubes over the standard 6n1p
