Title: Input Transformers Post by Andy831 on 02/20/07 at 10:25:05 I have a 240v ZSLA which I don`t use. I also have a Select which is 110v and a Select that is 240v My question is simple, can I swop the 240v Input transformer off the ZSLA onto the 110v Select This seems a simple answer to sorting out my mains power conumdrum, but maybe seems too simple to be possible. |
Title: Re: Input Transformers Post by KeithC on 02/20/07 at 13:22:23 Andy, Maplin do a brace of step-downs: http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=13358&&source=14&doy=20m2 At £30 or £40, better'n mutilating the ZSLA. |
Title: Re: Input Transformers Post by Andy831 on 02/20/07 at 13:37:37 Hi Keith Just Pm`ed you with directions etc. I already have a step down tranny for the 110v select, It was just an idea that because i don`t use the ZSLA and it has a 240v tranny on it I wondered about swopping it to the 110v Select so I would then have a 110v ZSLA which I don`t use but intend to keep, and 2 / 240v Selects......... Hope that makes some sense? I was getting confused just typing it. Andy |
