I found this speaker and was wondering what ya'll think of it, if I were to use two of them wired in parallel giving me a 4 ohm load???

Thanks in advance,

Using musical instrument woofers (ex. PEAVEY BLACK WIDOW) you get tight full accurate bass from 200 down to 40 HZ. Using subwoofers you get big warm full bass that can on command create Subsonic pressures lower than 20 cycles

Straight from Steve D. on the HWK page.  The Low rider is similar to the black widows- so I would assume they would work fine.  Also- I believe the BWX line of Peavey on Partsexpress is the new Black Widow line hence the BW, and are slightly cheaper then the lowriders.

If you can, go with the lowrider. I bought four of the 1508-4 BWX speakers only to discover an X-max of 2.3mm OUCH!. While they did sound good, I could have gotten a lot more out of them with the proper drivers. I'm about to replace them with Eminence 3015lf 15's. They're cheaper than the Peaveysand are a lot lighter because of the neo magnet.
