Title: wall of wicked ones? Post by dbjunkies on 10/13/06 at 02:38:13 Has anyone tried making a wall of say 4 or 5 wicked one boxes stacked in a van for SPL competition? How did they do? Would they be better stacked horiz. or vert.? Just playin around with the idea - have some MDF, a bunch of Distinct Audio 10's, 8K of power and a 74 Dodge Tradesman doing nothing..... ??? ??? |

Title: Re: wall of wicked ones? Post by dbjunkies on 10/13/06 at 14:44:47 so would it be possible to build a "really wicked one" with like say, 6 or 8 tens in it? Or would I be better off building a massive one with 2 Memphis MOJO 15's, cause we have 3 of them in our escort right now in a wall....just thinkin' out loud ??? |
Title: Re: wall of wicked ones? Post by mrezstreet on 10/13/06 at 15:05:51 dbjunkies....i love it..... :D :D :D i had kicked that around my self....putting 15" ers in my cargo and just stackin WO's then wallin em off at a angle....to give it a bit of a flair ??? |
Title: Re: wall of wicked ones? Post by J_Rock on 10/13/06 at 18:58:16 Hell yeah a huge WO- it would probably be closer to horn then it is now. You have 8 10s? 4 on each side. Be like 4 feet tall! |

I thought the length of the Wo was the important bit ??? IŽd think youŽd be better of with a stack both because of cancalations within the box and for using for other projects, after you blow out the windshield ;) |
Title: Re: wall of wicked ones? Post by dbjunkies on 10/13/06 at 19:55:02 I think seperate boxes would definately leave open the versatility thing - also could try turning them on end and other arrangements to test for the best performance.... :-* :-* |
