i'm debating myself wether to buy this or buy another infinty ref1040w and clamshell'em in my db-10.
what do you say ?

I have had good luck with the infinity's.I have a 10"kappa perfect 10.1 in a db. A suggestion, if you have the room build a 12"DB you will not be dissapointed. My 12" db with one kappa 12.1d is louder and deeper than my 10".Shawn

the price sure is nowhere near each other, so that would be the deciding factor. I can see the soundsplinter going lower and louder, but the price might not be worth it....

i have a db-12, but i hate it just because it's big.
i still have to find someone with a kappa perfect 10.1d to try it in the db-10.
the price diffrence between the kappa dn the ss is about 60$ (considering that the ss price is beefed up by shipping).
if the soundsplinter WILL go lower, i'm giong to build a ported for my infinity and sell it.
