Hey I decided i need to add some damping and polyfill is my only choice. However my sealed enclosure is already a little larger than necessary (not by that much). I have heard that polyfill will make it as if the volume is 30% larger. Will this make the enclosure to big? Should I shrink it and add the polyfill and calculate the 30% increase into the total volume?
Please I need help with this problem!

Ya I still have a question after reading that. What will happen if the volume is bigger than it should be for the driver? How much is to much?

if the box is already the ideal size then you wouldnt need stuffing...

why do you feel the need for stuffing? it may not actually be the solution you seek.

at 3lbs per cube (thats a lot) the gain in a sealed box is 25-30%, which would be enough to extend bass response by a noticeable margin. if the box were 30% too big for the driver then the cone would move more and you may receive a penalty in max power handling for that, but nothing else, save better bass response. This may come at the expense of increasing group delay as well though...
