I was going through some music that I hadn't listened to in a while and came across a real gem .....
Several years ago, I had asked our friend Lon to recommend some jazz recordings that I would enjoy.
One of the albums he suggested was "Cornet Chop Suey" by Ruby Braff.
The cornet playing is excellent, but one of my very favorite instruments is the clarinet ..... and it is wonderful on the song "It's the Same Old South".
Thanks again, Lon ..... my foot was tapping like a madman .....
