Title: Efficiency Post by Stoplitz on 06/13/26 at 16:14:30 My TAD ME-1 speakers are rated at 85 and run at 4 ohms. I sit about 6 ft  away from the speakers in a 15x 11 room and never run the volume of my Zen triode amp past 1 o’clock. Listen to music at 80db no problem. Also have lil song open baffles and run amp at about 3 o’clock. Can’t see what I’m missing with the less efficent speakers which most reviewers warn against.
