Title: SE84UFO and Bitsy Post by Karl on 04/26/26 at 13:12:38 Hello friends. I was lucky to find a nice SE84UFO (level 2) from 2025 on USAudiomart. It included a Sophia electric Aqua 274B III and a globe 80 as rectifier choices. I have been enjoying both of them. I initially used the SE84UFO with my Zu Union 6 supremes but ultimately ended up preferring my Torii Mk IV in that room. So, I set up a bedroom system with the zen amp and a beautiful pair Decware Bitsys. I added a REL zero mkIII and use a Bluesound node as a source. I have been listening for a couple weeks now and I am happy. One thing I’ve noticed is occasion dropout of the right channel. This is fixed by flipping the input tube bias switch. I’m suspicious that something might be loose internally? Anyone else notice this problem with their SE84? |

Have you tried different input tubes? That sounds more like a tube problem than an amp problem to me. If it happens with multiple tubes then it is time to call Steve IMO. |
