Title: Sweet Vinyl SugarCube
Post by Dominick on 04/15/26 at 23:40:33

A fellow audiophile told me about this product from Sweet Vinyl called the Sugar Cube.  It’s been out for years now, and  I’m surprised I never heard of it.  This product removes pops and clicks from the vinyl albums with digital algorithms, and then converts the signal back to analog. What’s nice is that you can control how aggressive the algorithm works.

At first my thought was that this product defeats the purpose of vinyl being an analog source, but after I watched a videos on how well it works, I was very impressed.  The SC-1 mini is only for playback, but the SC-2 allows you to pull the vinyl songs, record it, save, and convert it.

While I don’t mind some low level clicks and/or pops…if it’s loud enough and happens often…..it does bother me.

Due to its popularity, their entire product line is sold out and they are now taking a list for preorders.  It’s not cheap…the SC-1 mini goes for $1500.  Here’s a few quick videos to check out.  I would love to have Steve get a hold of this product and run some tests on it to see what he finds, and also what he thinks.

I’m curious what others think about this product…so feel free to comment. Here’s a few links of the product…
