Title: Full range drivers are a fools errand Post by Donnie on 12/04/25 at 01:43:12 Well according to Danny Richie of GR Research, it takes 14 crossover parts to make a Tang Band 8" driver to work. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tGdXgp9xios I notice that you have to knock 10dB off of the efficiency so that the driver measures flat. He also said that Lii drivers are really bad about ringing. Hmm, I guess that listening to a test tone is how we need to start entertaining ourselves from now on. That sounds like a real entertaining Saturday night to me.
