I have the SE84UFO2 with Anniversary mods. My original rectifier tube started to rattling and I replaced it with a brand new one, same model (I decided to just replace all the tubes with a set from Decware after verifying that the rectifier was the culprit). This one definitely does not have many hours on it. I swapped it this year and half the time I was using my other amp.

Any suggestions for non original, Decware provided Rectifier tubes? The amp sounds great until there is silence in the song... the silence is filled with rectifier rattle!

My four top rectifiers in use are: Sohia Electric Aqua II, Linlai 274B-D Dream Series, Psvane Black Treasure 274B-Z and NOS Amperex 5R4WGB. I rotate them depending on what other tubes are in my Zen amp or SEWE300B or CSP3.

Thank you Lon! I guess I am about to start "tube rolling," unless replacing them with the same ones count.

Hopefully I 'm not slapping a jinx on myself but I have had perfect luck with the Russian 5u3 wing C rectifiers that use to be stock with Decware pieces.

I have yet to have one fail in over 4 years ( knock on wood) and I really like and am happy with the sound both black and grey plates. I haven't rolled as many different rectifiers as some users but when I did I always came back to the 5u3 C's in amps/preamps/ZP3. Good looking tube as well.
