Title: SE84UFO transformer size Post by Geno on 05/09/25 at 12:35:14 Does anyone know the SE84UFO transformer size/designation? After the introduction of the Sarah, I’ve kicked around the idea of replacing the front covers with aftermarket copper ones. So pretty! Thanks, Geno |

Interesting. Can you actually buy these off the rack? or do you need to get them custom made? |
Title: Re: SE84UFO transformer size Post by Geno on 05/10/25 at 02:29:07 Hey James. It looks like there are standard sizes. I remember someone posting a link in the Sarah development thread, not long after Steve first showed the fancy end caps. I looked back but I couldn’t find it. I found this link. Not sure if it’s legitimate: https://www.dhgate.com/product/2pcs-transformer-cover-shrouds-end-bells/994250998.html |
Title: Re: SE84UFO transformer size Post by Geno on 05/10/25 at 05:04:16 All, Please disregard this foolishness. I was thinking the bottom opening for the wiring was slotted. I see now that it is simply a hole, which would require getting inside the amp to undo the wiring. I certainly don’t want to be the cause of someone getting hurt, trying to accomplish this. Way beyond my level of diy. |
