This has two ten-step stepped attenuators and is the version that uses two 12AU7 and one 0D3 tubes. I will include several types of each NOS tube.

This preamp has three inputs and two outputs, all single-ended RCA.

Lon, That takes me back. Good sounding preamp with appropriate tubes to run in it. 12AU7 are made for low noise but of course, they are low mu (amplification) as well.
I am presently making a much more expensive preamp using these tubes and hope to get the sound that you already have in these. Very fair price too. If anyone is paying attention, this would be an easy choice. haven't been on the site for quite a while, but I do browse every now and then.

Thanks--yes this is quite a nice, quiet, pretty darned transparent preamp. I've used it a few years in my headphone only system feeding a solid state headphone amp. Was a great match.

Plays well with Decware amps, and also with solid state or class D or chip amps.

Don't know. . . I have bought plenty from Steve over the years!

This one was in my headphone system a few years. . . feeding a PS Audio GCHA headphone amp. It was a perfect combination--adding just a little tube magic to that excellent solid state amplifier. I had used a CSP3 there previously and I kept rolling tubes and getting interesting sounds, but this one with a pair of 5963 and an 0D3 just delivered and didn't cause me to fidget and tube-roll. Then the GCHA developed an issue and I put a Schiit Juttenheim in place and a ZBIT and ZROCK2 in front of it and liked that sound and the Bottlehead went on a shelf. It doesn't deserve to be unused so I put it up for sale.
