Title: Re: A current favorite Post by Steve Deckert on 07/18/21 at 04:50:42 Something recent from Yello! - You can never go wrong with Yello from a system evaluation perspective. Every album is like a system test disk to evaluate image, depth, width, height, density, hit, power, swell, tease, pull-back, smash, texture, tone, timbre, you know -- all those things you love about music! These guys are the master of the Moog synth. ![]() |
Title: Re: A current favorite Post by CJinArcadia on 07/19/21 at 03:04:27 Am listening to the first one. Thanks for sharing it Steve. The “layers” on it are something else. I still don’t understand how I can have music 5-10 feet outside of my speakers. But I love it. |

Title: Re: A current favorite Post by JBzen on 04/29/22 at 08:31:51 A jaw dropping experience when first hearing Martin Denny's work decade's ago on a stereo tube console LP player. Very interesting back stories of the groups incarnation of bird sounds and instrument acquisitions. John |

Title: Re: A current favorite Post by Lon on 07/22/22 at 15:31:21 Stefon Harris & Blackout "Sonic Creed" My system has always liked this one. The better the system gets the more this fills the room with warm liquid sound. It's a good balance of a. modern recording with a traditional jazz recording, and communicates differing moods via the engineering and performances. ![]() |
