I saw those reviews, too. They are not that expensive and maybe worth a try under my Decware loudspeakers.

I don't know if it's best to isolate the speaker from the floor or couple them.

Like stonedeaf on this forum, I use Herbie Audio footers that allow me to move the speakers around. I think they couple rather than isolate. They make a positive difference, and don't raise the speakers more than a quarter of an inch than "stock."
