Title: Re: Speaker choice for WO32 Post by Mr Content on 05/03/06 at 11:59:20 Hi RMT. This driver looks a little high in the Fs. Its asking a lot for a 35hzFs driver to deliver deep bass. I used the Vifa drivers Steve recomended, they have an Fs 0f 24hz, and I would not think you would want to use any driver with a higher Fs. Just my 2 cents worth ;D ;) Mr C |
Title: Re: Speaker choice for WO32 Post by hannes on 05/03/06 at 22:58:08 Besides, foam surrounds are known to rot away after some (say 10) years of service. They might be using a different foam on recent speakers though... I think the low Qts value is good for use in a horn, so that should not be a problem. Bye, Hannes |
